SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday School classes for ages 3-Senior High.

Students go with their families to the 10:00 Worship Service and stay for the Children's Message, then will go to their rooms for Sunday School.

We have classes for kids age 3-1st grade, 2nd - 5th grade and for youth 6th -12 grades.

Sunday School 2023-2024

Our lectionary-based Whirl curriculum will help kids (preschool-5th grade) connect Sunday School with the church year, use videos to engage the class, help kids learn key Bible themes and stories, and teach kids how the Bible is relevant to their lives. All kids are invited to join our Sunday School classes so we can learn and grow together. We have 2 classes: Preschool through 1st grade (yellow room at the bottom of the steps) and 2nd grade-5th grade (downstairs on right side of hall).

Our youth (6^th-12^th grade) meet every week downstairs in the youth room where Tom and Ray engage in conversations and studies where all can participate and share.

Safe Sanctuary

PA House Bill 435 was signed into law to increase protection for children and youth in Pennsylvania. This law requires all volunteers working with children and youth to have the following two clearances: The PA Criminal Record Check (Act 34) and the PA Child Abuse Clearance (Act 33). The new law requires updates to clearances every three years.

Our policy is to require both clearances for all volunteers working with children and youth and for all church staff members, and to require the clearances to be updated every three years. Staff members are required to also get FBI clearances, as will new volunteers from out of sate.
