Memory Café

MUM is hosting a monthly coffee and discussion "Memory Cafe" held by Arden Courts sponsored by Adult Ministries. Jeanni Watson is the facilitator. Memory Cafés are designed to provide support for people with dementia and their caregivers in an informal setting. Originally started in England, this informal setting provides the caregiver a forum for discussion, reducing the isolation often felt by people with dementia, their caregivers and families. Discussions can range from practical tips for coping with dementia, avoiding caregiver burnout or information about community resources. There is no cost or obligation, and many attendees develop friendships that result in support even outside the Memory Cafe setting.

The dates are August 15, September 19, October 17, November 21, December 19 (3rd Thursday monthly) at 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. in Room 3. Refreshments will be provided. Additional questions? Please call: 412-380-1300.

Circle of Light Prayer Group

All are welcome to join a group prayer experience in the MUM parlor on Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m. The Circle of Light prayer experience allows people to come together to share the many blessings that come from praying together as a group. Participants have opportunities for sharing blessings and concerns. There are brief spoken prayers before and after a time of silent prayer and meditation. There is time to share with each other after the prayer session as well. Please contact Bill Frase at bfrase11@ for more information.

Bridge - Beginner to Expert

MUM’s Bridge group meets in the parlor on Monday afternoons 12:30 - 3:00 p.m. Pat Carfagna is coordinating the group. All levels are welcome for a fun, relaxing, fellowship. Do you plan to come? Please let Pat Carfagna or Dona Todarello (412.372.7474) know that you would like to join this group.
