Adult Sunday School Class

 Adult Sunday School Classes

Resume on Rally Day, September 10

Seekers, MUM Parlor, 8-9 a.m.

The Seekers discussion book The Orthodox Heretic and Other Impossible Tales by Peter Rollins is available in the Church Office suggested price at $10.00. Dave Morse is the class teacher.

Peter Rollins is a writer, philosopher, storyteller and public speaker. Visit him at www.peterrollins.net. He describes this book “In the parable, truth is not expressed via some dusty theological discourse that seeks to educate us, but rather it arises as a lyrical dis-course that would inspire and transform us. In light of this, the enclosed parables do not seek to change our minds but rather to change our hearts.”

Christian Living, MUM Parlor, 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Dave Quel will lead the class in taking an in-depth look at what the Bible is saying in the scriptures each Sunday based on Pastor Ed's sermon. It is suggested you read the weekly scripture prior to class. The scriptures will be avaialbe at the class and on the bulletin board outside of the parlor, as well as, in the MUM Messenger newsletter.
